Bless A Soul Foundation, a subsidiary of Army of Eagles Ministries, has extended a generous hand to the Porters Village Orphanage Home in Dodowa. On December 19, 2023, the foundation donated a wide range of essential items worth GHS10,000, including new footwear, stationery, toiletries, food supplies, and bags of water. This gesture was aimed at providing love, support, and encouragement to the children and their caregivers, empowering them to pursue their dreams without limitations.
As part of their commitment to holistic care, the foundation organized a free health screening for the orphanage’s inhabitants on Saturday, March 9, 2024. The screening included clinical examinations and the provision of medications for various illnesses. A total of 109 children and caregivers benefited from this exercise, which was accompanied by the donation of medications valued at GHS9,000.
Pastor Samuel Sowatey, the founder of Army of Eagles Ministries and Bless A Soul Foundation, expressed the heart behind these initiatives:
“This is an annual event we started in 2017 to bless orphans and those who are deprived in our societies. Through such kind gestures, we hope to showcase the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
He also emphasized the importance of remembering orphans and widows in line with God’s Word and extended gratitude to all supporters of this worthy cause.
Bless A Soul Foundation’s ongoing efforts demonstrate their dedication to improving the lives of the underprivileged, providing not just material support but also hope and a reminder of God’s enduring love.
